The Project will be joining us at our Christmas Revels.

Gloucester Day Parade

Saturday 7nd of September 2024

The Steampunks of Gloucestershire will be mustering at the DeCrypt Cafe 11:30am. Most of us will be attending the Thanksgiving service at 12 noon. We will then be joining the parade from 1:30pm on the bowling green behind the museum of Gloucester

The Cross Streets of Gloucester will come alive with stalls, stands, lively performances (on the stage on Southgate Street) and all the pomp and ceremony of the traditional Gloucester Day parade through the four main gated streets, led by the Mayor and Sheriff of Gloucester, in full Civic Regalia.

Gloucester Day traditionally marks the launch of the festival and raises morale in the City. The Gloucester Day event is the reinstatement of the original Gloucester Day – a day of celebration on the lifting of the siege of Gloucester – in 1643. This occasion was celebrated annually for centuries..

The Steampunk's Christmas Revels

2024

We're gonna be very busy.... and there's going to be more. We will be involved in and supporting other events including the Gloucester Day Parade,  Keep an eye on our FB page and Website for news and updates.

Just some of the things we're doing in the future. Because without you these things won't happen. Here's your chance to take an active role in our events. We need volunteers to help out, whatever you can do and whatever time you can give, will be appreciated.

Event dates up-date; including dates for our Two summer events.

The summer Shenanigans theme is "What the Dickens!" Dickensian (and contemporaries) Inspired Steampunk weekend. Only 15 novels, 5 novellas, and lord knows how many characters to choose from... everything from Magwitch to Jacob Marley....

Steampunks in Neverland theme is well... flying children, St Bernard dogs, Pirates, Crocodiles, the Lost Boys (no not those Lost Boys) Mermaids, and a child murdering immortal Elf... Sorry, were we not supposed to mention that bit? Guess you need to read the books!
